Hey,
When i try to launch the game it just crashes right away..
The screen turns black for about ½-1 second and then crashes.

I've tried setting compatibility to WinXP SP2, downloading a config file from the official forum, and running the game as admin.

I've just done a reinstall the game, but that didn't help either...

With the configuration file, did the game at least look like it was trying to load in a window?

Are you shutting down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus) before starting the game? A firewall has caused startup problems a couple times, as well (though hanging, rather than crashing).

Yeah, the window loads up for half a sec, and then crashes.
So it does initialize the config file.

I also just tried to run the support tool you linked to.
It gives the error "Error getting DirectX info! - Unknown".
Which is weird, since as you can see in the previously linked dxdiag, directx is installed.

Just to be sure, i ran the installer again, yet to no help :/
Maybe it is an issue with the model of the graphics card i'm using? Which is a GTX TITAN.

EDIT:
I just ran the DirectX Installer again.
Then i ran the support tool afterwards, It now passes the test for DirectX.. Back to square one.

Okay, i finally fixed it!
I'm gonna post the solution down below, in case others have the same issue i had.
But be warned, this could seriously harm your computer, as we're messing with system files here!

1. Delete D3DCompiler_43.dll from C:\Windows\SysWOW64
2. Copy a new D3DCompiler_43.dll into C:\Windows\SysWOW64
(Some games come packaged with it, for example i found mine in the install folder for a game called Planetary Annihilation located here: Steam\SteamApps\common\Planetary Annihilation\bin_x64\host)

As you can see, this is a simple fix, i hope might be able to help others.
But again, it is messing with system files, in system folders, so do it at your own risk.
