SPOILER ALERT!


I can't get Sir Dante to ask me to steal the deed from Sir Patrick to kick of the Assasin Guild quest. I've even gone and gotten the scroll and talked to him with it in my inventory, but it didn't help. Did I screw something up earlier?

Did you talk to Commander Ralph at the Town Watch Headquarters in Ferol before asking? (building to the North of the barracks where all the soldiers attacked you) You need to talk to him about the Old Duke's death and he will suggest you try to find a contact in the Assassin's Guild then suggesting you contact Sir Dante in Verdistis as he may be able to help you contact the guild.

I believe you must have the conversation with Commander Ralph before Sir Dante will offer the dialog about the deed.

When you ask Sir Dante about contacting the assassins guild he will be agitated and demand to know who told you he could make contact with the guild. Reply with "Zandalor the Wizard" or he won't offer to make the contact. Answer with anything but Zandalor and he wont cooperate. Once you indicate Zandalor he should ask you to do a favor for him before he gives you the contact info. . . =)
