Hi GoG,

I just bought the game and after i had downloaded it i noticed that file has weird name:

divine_divinity_part0.gogDownload

..i cant install game with this file ...please help me :(
Hopefully it's just a matter of gog downloader 'forgetting' to rename the file.

Try to rename the file yourself to

setup_divine_divinity.exe

Right click on the game shortcut, choose the option properties, switch to the compatibility tab and tick the checkbox for 'Run as Admin'.

That message points to a permissions issue caused by windows UAC, which is somehitng that happens frequently on Windwos 7 and Windows Vista. Running the applicatios as Admin will most likely solve that.

Well, his install files are corrupt, which means he will have to download the install files again.

If his previous downloads were made with gog's downloader he can always try to download them directly using his internet browser to see if the files download ok that way.

He can also make sure his AV/Firewall aren't messing up the download. Usually this involves temporarily disabling the AV/Firewall while the files are downloading and re-enabling them once the download is complete.
