I saw on steam that this game has full controller support and local multi-player, but as the game is in here too, I allways prefer GOG.

But to my surprice the controllers are not being recognized.

Am I doing somethig wrong? Are the features in GOG different than those on Steam?

I was tring to dig in some informationn abot this but mostly is way old.

Please help me, Couch coop was the main reason why I bought this game.

No, controller support (and split screen co-op) will not be added until the full release, for the GOG and Steam versions.
The controller support tag is shown on the Steam store page due to the relevant setting (which Steam uses to generate tags) being enabled in order to set up and test controller support and the controller configuration.

On Steam, the Local Multi-Player tag means LAN; there is a separate 'Shared/Split Screen' tag.
