Hello,

Just so you know, we have released a couple of hotfixes in the last few days that address urgent matters like crashes. Today we have also prepared a hotfix specifically for Chinese players that play with a controller. It is not yet live on GOG because it requires some further testing.

Thanks for understanding,

David / Larian Studios
Why is it live on Steam if it still needs testing? I was so happy to keep on playing with my mate this evening and now we run on different versions and can't play :(
The upload to GOG was hanging and I had to restart it. So I don't trust it 100% and I don't want everyone to be stuck if something is wrong. It's not GOG's fault, hiccups happen.

Do you know how much time additional testing will take?
Dang it! Time to see if it's faster for my firend to downgrade and it is for the hiccup to be fixed.
There's no ETA on it either, is there? That's a bummer.

Friend and I own it on different platforms so I guess we'll just have to wait until they push the update on GOG.
Same problem as a few other people ITT - can't co-op with friends on Steam

... and we're now 6+ hours waiting on synch for GOG

What's with this delay anyways, any exact reason why steam gets the patch just fine and we're waiting over 6 hours to get it on GoG? was planning to play with some friends but now i'm screwed because i'm the only one in the group with the GoG version...
Wait, there is already a new update for the game but it wasn't released yet on GOG?

Wonder why it always take more time on gog...
Wow, previous hotfix isn't delivered also.
And it looks like some of us will have to redownload whole 45 gb again, due to lack of intermediate version.
We have set this build live now so Steam and GOG version are compatible and GOG now has the font cache fix too.

Sorry for the wait.

Can You confirm that "data" folder can be deleted when DOS 2 Standard Edition is not needed? It is around 30 GB of useless data!

thanks for the hard work you guys must have put in overnight - really appreciated

... especially cos i'm having to carry a couple of scrubs who only just bought the game and they were lost without me :3
You don't need classic data to be able to play enhanced. You can remove it from your local drive if you only want to play definitive :)
Urgh, and again we need to download the whole 45GB to get the patch...I have downloaded 110 GB since the release, and just because i was later to get the first version before removing and replacing it with another one :P

Anyway, thanks for your work and for telling us about the new fix, David.
