Are there more fights in the arena or just one? After the first fight in the arena I talked to Thola, but she doesn't offer any more challanges.
Same here. After leaving the island the game tells me I abondend the quest. So something is buggy.

Doesnt it mention something about fighting one of your party after you win the first match? Probably a pvp quest or something.
Did you talk to the blacksmith to get your collar removed? That cleared it for me.
Yep. Nebola (or something like that), the friend of Dallis, who when previously talked to about the collars refused to loosen them ("for you? hah!"), now sees you as "The One" and will remove them. I haven't yet - want to do other things before getting into a fight with the Magisters - but you can delay the removal and go back to her whenever you want for it.

Plus, there is another fight - you just have to initiate it. After getting my reward from the team up above, I attacked them and beat them for huge xp (Sepp "the burnished one" was worth 2400xp alone. the others were either 500 or 250 apiece).

BUT, the lady who mentions the arena, after I did that, asked if I spoke to "The Burnished One" and replied "Good. I imagine you'll see him again." - or something similar. So I just hope I didn't screw up a greater reward/reason for seeing him later than the 3900xp (maybe a little more) I got for killing him and his team. I posted a question about this but received no replies and have since moved on, so I'll just deal with my choices as I know I'll be replaying this game the same way as I did with the first - many times.

They had good loot if I remember correctly, but I had better gear already at lvl 3 - the Lucky Charm ability has been amazing so far, I have gotten extremely good loot from containers including magical weapons, armor, and rings that are above my current level - and I have not been farming.

Speaking of which, one of the really good changes I like in D:OS2 is that you can wield a higher level weapon without an AP penalty like the first game. Which makes sense - if you invest in lucky charm and find a great weapon for doing so there shouldn't be a penalty.
There is only one fight in the arena. Later fights are pvp. So if you have friend playing together, you can pvp in the arena.
Also, good to know the lucky charm skill is actually useful. =)
Yeah, it's obviously a PvP arena based on the dialogue after if you choose to fight a teammate and you are just playing yourself.

I'm hoping that's what she meant with her comment about seeing the burnished one again.

If so, and you are playing alone, it's very worth it to get that extra xp for beating them too in my opinion.
It's only one fight at fort joy yeah, and the quest isn't really bugged, looks like it's the quest log is what's bugged which doesn't prevent you from progressing.

I did the fight, got crowned champion of fort joy and when I left act 1 it said I didn't complete it in the log. but when I reached the next arena they acknowledged I did champion Fort Joy's arena and the quest reopened.

Ahhhh hell.

Did not know there would be later arenas.

I really, really, really, really, really hope it's not the same people - "The Burnished One" and others - that I already obliterated.

Oh well if it is, this isn't going to be my only play. Knowing there is another arena, it stands to reason there are even more - likely the last one being epic and "The Burnished One" (who says after your first fight that one fight doesn't mean anything) accepts you and rewards you with something great. Or actually now that I think about it and already fought them - they are a full team, diversified like your own, and may be your final arena fight, though at a higher level thereby giving you more xp and loot than I got for beating them early. Dammit.

^ Not a spoiler, I'm only guessing and hoping I am wrong lol.
