Recently my game crashed and since that happened I can no longer launch through GOG. I press the play button and it then reappears green. I've repaired installation and also reinstalled GOG.

In event logs under application I get this when I try to launch the game from GOG. If I run the normal exe in the folder it works fine.

Try exiting out of Galaxy, and starting the launcher from the '..\Divinity Original Sin 2\bin\SupportTool.exe' executable.

If the launcher doesn't start at all, try deleting the config.xml file in the '..\Divinity Original Sin 2\bin' folder, as well as 'C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\LarianLauncher' (copy and paste %LocalAppData%\LarianLauncher into Windows Explorer to quickly open that folder).
After that, try verifying local files (in Galaxy select the game in the left column, then click on the More button, and in the Manage menu select 'Verify / Repair') and see if that will get the launcher working.

You can also try reinstalling .Net Framework 4, but a game crash shouldn't affect .Net, so an issue with the config file is more likely.

If that doesn't at least get the launcher starting from the executable, there is also a Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool, or if that doesn't help, Cleanup Tool.

If that doesn't help, please email supportdos2@larian.com with a dxdiag report (WinKey-R, type in dxdiag and hit enter, then when it finishes loading click on the 'Save All Information...' button and save the report somewhere handy). Also check the '..\Divinity Original Sin 2\bin' folder for the gold.log file, and if there are any 'CrashDump' files being created, zip a few together to include.

This resolved the issue. Thank you
I wanted to add here in case it helps anyone else find this post & resolution (I had to do extra digging to find this).
This resolved my issue which was the"Error Code c00 please contact the developers"

In the event logs I got the same error as mentioned above.
After I bought a new Notebook i had the same Startup Crashes.

But strangely after many, many, many trys with different solutions it worked bcs i had music on while starting the game.

i dont know why but perhaps it has something to do with my usb exterior Soundbox.
Strangely i event unplugged the USB and it didnt started. But with Music (it was Youtube) it finally didnt crashed and Started.

That may be because of an audio service (such as Nahimic) being used for the audio, so not trying to load for the game.
The Nahimic service is used by two audio programs for certain motherboards (SonicRadar and Sonic Studio), and in that case, should be fixed with the latest updates for the Nahimic drivers and apps.
It is also included with the audio drivers for Alienware laptops. Disabling the service, or the Alienware Command Center before playing should help.

Try doing a clean boot and then test the game. Click Start, or hit WinKey-R, type in msconfig and hit enter; in the General tab, click Selective Startup, uncheck Load startup items (if required) and leave Load system services and Use original boot configuration options checked. Next, click on the Services tab, check the box to Hide all Microsoft services, then click the Disable All button (maybe make a note of which are currently enabled/disabled), then click OK and reboot the computer.
Run msconfig again to switch back to the normal boot configuration.
Solutions for this have been posted under various threads, so just to confirm: repairing Microsoft C++ installations seems to have solved the issue. Thumbs up!
