Is there a place that shows how to move or close the game or really anything useful in how to do stuff.

with w,a,s,d and E to select. space and shift to jump and run

I did not have any problems installing, lauching or configuring the game. Lauch game, select the game version and then go into options to rebind your keys. No Galaxy needed at all.

I would say it's the other way around since afaik the issue you experienced is not a common one. So bad luck for you - maybe tell support about your problem. With my post I only wanted to reassure people that usually Galaxy is NOT needed to get this to run.

And me offered solution to those experiencing problem (the downloaded installer said "unknown error, try re-downloading, but that didn't help).

As the game is very depressive, and lacks replay-value as far as I can see, that's the end of it here.

Still would have been interesting why the offline installer did not work for you - even after redownloading it.
Actually the game is not depressing, it is honest. Also "replay value" in an advenmture? But also I don't understand how missing replay value or the tone of the game would be important in finding out what issue you had with the game exept you did not like the game and therefore did not care anymore.

Because I do not care for the game, and could instal it anyway, I do not care for a solution, or continuing the conversation whether having the problem mentioned or not has preference.
Telling why I don't care both made the sentence longer,and hoped to cut any future question relating to it.
