My Game keeps trying to update but keeps failing?

my update fails too. Also, the update corrupted my local copy of the game. I deleted the game and tried to reinstall it. Unfortunately, it has failed too.

Same here tried reinstalling and it no good.
I sent a support ticket in. I'm trying again though.
On steam they're saying its a bunch of Mac files being downloaded?

Me too. Update failed, retried and still failed. So I uninstalled it and now it won't reinstall. What can I do? Can GOG fix this?

I have the same issue. Now I'm trying to download the game manually via browser and will try to install it then. I'll tell you guys if I can play after that.

Looks like an old patch is getting deployed. Or at least in my download it's giving me: patch_disco_elysium_c9a92687_(38217)_to_a35ab0b9_(39466).exe.
My DE installer is already listed as:
setup_disco_elysium_a35ab0b9_(64bit)_(39466).exe.

I'm guessing someone's patch distribution got marked incorrectly.

Downloaded and installed the non-Galaxy version (a35ab0b9), that went alright and allowed the game to start.

Yea something got screwed up. I hope it gets fixed soon.

If I run the game from the folder it runs. Just run the exe file from the folder the game is fine. It's a bad update to the galaxy files i think. Everything else works ok.
