No official changelog yet, but the first update seems to have just gone live.
The current version reads 59c2fcb3 as opposed to yesterday's release which was 03839f26.

May include the fix for Win7 x64 systems.

How do I see which version I got? I don't know if mine has updated, I don't know where to see a log for Galaxy 2 lol

Pull up the library from the website, select Disco Elysium's game card from the shelf and expand/pull down the "Download Offline Backup Game Installers" section.

Worthy to note that, in 99% of the cases the version number listed there is not the same as the actual in-game one.

Thanks, though I don't think GOG has actually downloaded anything for me yet, I don't recall seeing a download tab for it :/

What's the problem with Win7 x64 systems? I was thinking about buying this, but that's what I'm on.

There was a problem with videos not being played due to a missing codec, if I remember correctly.
Which has been resolved with the latest build.
New version: 4cc6dad5

Available as a patch from version 59c2fcb3 in addition to the new backup installer downloads (also for the GOG downloader, finally).

Still no GOG changelog in sight (have not checked in Galaxy yet).

No changelog is bad enough, but on top of that this game has some seriously fucked up version numbers. Looks more like a checksum than a version number. And I bet it won't show up in-game (I hate it when it's not obvious somewhere in the game - at least the main menu should have it).

I bet you need high conceptualisation to make sense of it, and then the location of the change logs will form in your mind. Pure logic doesn't seem to work at all in this case...

EDIT: Oh goody - the patch doesn't "support my version of the game", so now I get to download the whole thing again. It's definitely a newer version than what I have - build 33393 versus 33207. Too bad the patch is from 33212 to 33393... I guess the game DID get updated within an hour of me buying it (almost spot on the release time).

I just went into Galaxy to check if there was a changelog (it has happened before that it is in Galaxy and not the site) and... there are two newer versions: 8f7cd2ac and c50f6815, both listed as being from "a day ago" at this moment.

Still no changelogs of any kind, and the newer versions are not available as backup installers or patches... <sigh>.

--- edit ---

Having two more version "names" it is almost certain that they are hexadecimal numbers, and they look like a CRC32 string. Who knows what the devs were thinking to use that?

vaiowega: DISCO ELYSIUM Patch notes for version C50F6815 (viewable in the F1 menu, bottom right)
Thank you.

Brought to you by the devs, in Steam:
https://steamcommunity.com/games/632470/announcements/detail/1667947676633775166

Let's hope the notes being missing here is just because of the weekend. As well as the offline installers.

Also, finally an in-game version number. And I wouldn't have find it now if not pointed out, since it wasn't there in previous versions.

Changelog for C50F6815 was added on GOG

New version A54D931A available for Galaxy, website and GOG downloader. No changelog yet, neither here or Steam.

Backup installer for patches 8F7CF2AC to C50F6815, and C50F6815 to A54D931A were added... but there is no downloadable patch for 4CC6DAD5 to 8F7CF2AC, so download the latest full installer if you have an installer older than 8F7CF2AC ... Try saying that three times in a hurry -_-

They're finally here now. Strange that the patches arrived out of order, but at least they're here. And they're PROPER patch files too, none of this 2GB+ patch crap either.

31st October: The missing patch has been uploaded and is available at the website and for the GOG downloader
WHY is there a "scriptinterpreter.tmp" trying to connect to the internet EVERY update? STOP THAT!
