So i found out how to get Manta. Just for an hour later to not be able to upgrade that one. But only the other ship i had.

Can i really not upgrade the Manta in any way? Its guns are better positioned and looks cooler.

i upgraded the fleet edition boat to something called the beluga.

it only does 10 knts but it can dive to 500' & its got cannon x 6 & 2 torpedo tubes, & 30 hps.

the lady also mentions a glacier type craft, it can do 15knts.

idk if the manta is upgradible or not, but it looks nice for loot hoarding & pretty sturdy to boot.

Dlc Ships do not upgrade, they will however match the highest depth number of any of your other ships. There is currently a display bug in the swap menu that shows 200 depth, but they do match.

They upgraded well...just chose default ship for upgrade then chose DLC ship and you will see this is 2 Lvl now.

I'm afraid, the DLC ships don't have the same collapse depth as the other ships :/ Level 3 Manta only get's down to -1300 while the regular subs (level 3) can reach -2000. that really bothers me, because I cannot progress in the story missions at the moment...

Well at least the alarm starts ringing, when I go deeper than 1300. I am not 100% sure, if the sub would really implode, but playing the game with annoying depth alarm is also no option. And according to a to do list in the bug report thread on the steam forums, the developers already fixed that display bug.

Hmm that's a bummer sounds like it might not be fixed then. Is your (non-DLC) ship upgraded to level 3?

Yes, it is upgraded to level 3. On the steam forums the developers posted, that the will consider this in the future, but have to rework certain areas. Maybe the mean, that the ship is to big also to reach every location, I don' know...
