Just for everyone, It seems that bugfixing as restarted on the steam version (on a beta branch so it's not ready yet) even though the company is no more.
When asked about the gog version on the discord he answered:
"It's possible to update the gog version but we need to make sure the latest gog Galaxy API is compatible with the somewhat older version of Unity, so that's at least a few weeks down the road"
So first fixing steam and then see if the api are compatible.
