It is possible to crash the train. But it is really tricky. :D

Definitely possible but not easy. The first switch change it to red and then leave it (arrows showing curves).

If memory serves you have to change switches 2 and 3 during the train run. It's tricky. You have to get the train to reverse direction at level 2/3 so that it goes through 4 in the other direction and then out through one of the specific exits at 4.

The sequence is as follows:
1. Set all switches to turn.
2. Wait for the train to pass switch 2 for the first time, then set switch 2 to straight.
3. Wait for the train to pass switch 3 for the first time, then set switch 3 to straight.
4. Wait for the train to crash.

Not that hard really :)
