I still have my old save, why isnt that game letting me load it?

I also made another character which I also cant load? Somethings broken with the save games i think. (PS the save games are the file, single_0.sv in the installation directory).

Try putting them in /dx subfolder of the installation directory. I think classic and "dx" version has different save files.

Saves should theoretically work unless the save system has been modified if they're named single_0.sv (0-9 for numbers work, anything higher doesn't) or multi_0.sv

If Classic doesn't work with old saves, then the DX version won't either. You'll sadly have to make new characters, sucks, but... not much one can do about it outside of just not playing the GoG version.

Turns out I needed to put the save in the dx folder as suggested, picked up where I left off about 10 years ago, bit surreal lol. Thanks both.
