What the title says. All the sounds work in town, but once I leave it's like the game is on mute.

Having the same issue. Tried doing the verify/repair to no avail.

Opened up Speaker Properties and changed "Default Format" under Advanced from 16 bit to one of the 24 Bit studio quality. Sometimes this works sometimes it doesn't. I also enabled "Spatial Sound" in Windows 10 but disabled the 7.1 virtual surround sound.

thanks , activate "spatial sound" have solved my sound issue :)
