Here are some Hellfire mods I've collected over the years. I'm not sure how widely known they are so I thought I'd post them here.

Hellfire v1.02
1.) Enables multiplayer.

2.) Fixes a bug where numerous unique items could never drop.

Diablo Stash
1.) Enables an option with Gillian to store items. This does mess with her dialog though. If you configure it properly you can also use it to transfer items between single & multiplayer.

Character & Quest Unlocker
1.) A couple of batch files for enabling/disabling the cow quest & the hidden classes. This is useful because there's a different quest reward & Na-Krul has different dialog depending on whether or not the quest is enabled.

there's Belix's mod that combines the Hellfire patch, command.txt, Gillian stash, closer Adria to portal, and multiplayer UDP for Hellfire: https://www.gog.com/forum/diablo/diablo_hellfire_with_some_quality_of_life_changes_belixs_hellfire_v102a5_mod

also Mordor's The Hell and The Hell 2, though they don't specifically need Hellfire files to run.

This, belix's patch is way better because if has a bunch of QoL stuff all at once and a shit ton of bug fixes, some of which let you access to content that you would otherwise not be able to.

no it needs Hellfire expansion, which GOG now added. it's basically just unzipping the mod to the Hellfire game folder, further information on tweaking options in the readme.

Is there a way to add highlighting items on ground option or mod to this installed bellix mod?
Also possibility to auto-attack when LMB is pressed

not in that mod. Hellfire has the search skill or spell that highlights items for a duration.

and there's a DiabloClicker program included with Belix's mod, or you can use Autohotkey with your own script for that.

Hi, I downloaded this and tried to play on multiplayer. It's there and I can make a character but when I click to play it stops working. The loading box comes up but it's blank and all I can do is click the empty button to cancel. Am I doing something wrong?

Same issue i been having with GOG Hellfire version, every time i try to create a new MP Character it won't allow me, but my CD Install that is in a different directory works perfectly fine... it's just GOG Hellfire version that will not allow to create MP Characters..

Two things here with regards to multiplayer Hellfire- first you, obviously, need the hacked dll which the above patches can provide. Second, you need to run the game as administrator even if you're already the administrator. The reason you need to do this is because Hellfire stores your multiplayer characters as protected system files in the Windows folder to prevent cheating. If you don't run as administrator the game will be unable to save any changes and you'll be unable to make characters or save progress.

Happy to say that this is exactly the mode that I wanted. Only multi and items, I don't want anything else modified. I have 2 problems with the mode. In town the run value from options is on min value and does not save when changed and enter does not work when you want to create hero or create game, you have to click with mouse for example.

Can anyone tell me where are the save files as they are not in the windows folder or they are not *.drv files

Windows hides protected operating systems by default- so you wouldn't see them.

In File Explorer, go View and then Options and then View again and uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files (Recommended.).
