Hi all,
I did a bit of research but I'm confused, is there a mod to play Hellfire in multiplayer AND disable friendly fire?
I want to play the game without other features, for Diablo I found the "diablo.exe" modded with no friendly fire.
I enabled Hellfire multiplayer with Hellfrui and IPXWrapper but really need the friendly fire disabled.

Yes, DevilutionX provides this as well as a lot of bugfixes for Hellfire and multiplayer:

I did check devilution but did not undestand if I can have the game without fixes, so if I use the mod with only friendly fire disabled I should have the game like the original?

You get the bug fixes, but all features are optional. But hey if you prefer Mana Shield and Nova not working in multiplayer I guess that can't be helped.

the ini file is not included in the archive and trying to create it myself does nothing. where can i find it?

If you need it and do not have it, then create it at the path stated in the documentation. Based on the documentation, this appears to be a text file, which you could edit with Notepad.

The file is created by the game, you do not need to create it. If you have to create it it you are looking in the wrong place.

It is, maybe try searching for diablo.ini on your computer if you can't figure out how to navigate folders.
Or you can wait for 1.4.0 where we have added an in game settings menu.

We get out share of special people, recently a guy kept asking us how to configure a controller in d3 and wouldn't take "dude, we have no clue, we are d1 people" as an answer :D

it can not be configured. i tried to but, there is no ini file and creating one does nothing.
