an0maly33: Yep, I saw "hi-res" and thought they put in an official "mod" for zoomed out/high resolution. The store page is VERY misleading in that regard. I feel like I was lied to. Playing an Atari game on my 4k TV does not make it "hi-res". It's still garbage resoltion scaled up to fit my 4k display.
waltc: I'm disappointed that you guys didn't read the store text:
"For those wanting something a bit more modern, Blizzard and GOG.COM have collaborated on an updated version of the game tuned for today’s gaming PCs, which includes out-of-the-box Windows 10 compatibility, a host of bug fixes and
high-resolution support via aspect ratio-correct upscaling. What part of "...via aspect ratio-correct upscaling" did you fail to understand? Seems like the store was 100% accurate.
I had to laugh at how people these days don't bother to read anything much of the time...one guy was also disappointed because nothing had been "remastered"...;) Yet, the term "remaster" is found *nowhere* in the GOG store product description--quite the contrary, in fact. People really need to learn how to read...!
Actually you are incorrect.
This is the original text copied directly form the store page after I bought this yesterday.
"For those wanting something a bit more modern, Blizzard and GOG.COM have collaborated on an updated version of the game tuned for today’s gaming PCs, which includes out-of-the-box Windows 10 compatibility, a host of bug fixes and high-resolution support."
That's it. So you're wrong, quit acting smug.
Go ahead and look at the snapshot from yesterday on the wayback machine there chief. In fact today's snapshot on the way back machine still has the original text. They literally just changed this.
