Grotok2003: How about old bugs in D2? Have they been fixed? Like getting stun locked (read paralyzed) when being repeatedly charged by Claw Vipers and Reanimated hordes?
If you are having trouble with stun, you can get items that add to your hit recovery. Alternatively, you can use cold or aoe control to reduce the amount of hits you get.

OK thanks. I solved my problem by swapping weapons with the "W "key.
A newly introduced bug in D2:R is that when you die, your gold in your stash gets reduced, a LOT. I went from 2million down to 150k by dying a bunch in hell, not knowing my stash gold wasn't safe.

that's why it's not a bad idea to wait until a game is patched after release. early stage players are essentially betatesters. if you wait a month after release, the game will be more polished.

IIRC, it was a feature added in an old last official patch of D2.

You are only supposed to lose the gold you have on person, not put away in your stash.

This. Stash gold is never supposed to be lost. That's literally the only point of putting it in the stash. Well, now there's shared stash so there's that too, but yeah.

I forget, do you get the gold you were carrying if you retrieve your corpse?

I know you get your gear back, which is a pain, because typically you need your gear to get back to where you died to get your gear back,

I think you get some of it back in normal, but I can't remember exactly. In nightmare and hell all of the gold you're carrying goes up in smoke.

When getting your gear back, you can TP just before you reach your corpse, zig-zag through enemies, snatch your stuff, and then TP back to safety. That usually works for me.

The same as the original, which I'm old enough to admit I left work early to buy the day it came out.
I'm really enjoying this remake. More than I expected, tbh. The QOL changes have been huge, now if they could just fix stash gold disappearing I'd be one happy cymikinz.

The only problem is, I keep getting pummeled by monsters when I stop to look at them up close. :P

Methinks that is the highest compliment to whoever is responsible for the art. Cheers!

Yeah I love the aesthetics of the game. They did a really great job.
