Lobuno: One year later... still no GOG update.
That's why I stopped buying games at GOG.
rogerT: that's a little bit harsh !!
The developer went bankruptcy, after they finished the patch fro Steam.... but they didn't get the time to port this patch to GOG..
So yeah it sucks and Yes, if you want to get the last patched version , it's on Steam.
But don't say GOG sucks .... it's not right. At least you will be able to preserve your games, without any DRM.
And I want to support developers who want to leave DRM out of the way....
I know that some games takes years to go to GOG, but at least some "classic" games are still available.
I started with the good old CD versions.. I'm not sure of those cds won't die on me , in the future.
The "bankrupted" developers are currently developing a new game,
http://en.dreadlocks.cz/games/ghost-theory/ they have been for a while BTW:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/comments/605798163 It's available for pre-order now...
Also they active at Twittter
https://twitter.com/dreadlocksen announcing a Dex port currently available for pre-order for Nintendo Switch platform:
"- Release date: Q4 2020 - Pre-orders open on Thursday July 23rd at 5PM"
And this is not the only game abandoned or outadated in GOG's calogue that it's properly mantained in other stores. I own around 1000 titles at GOG's so I have a little knowledge about that.
But hey, It's just my opinion, you deserve yours.
