Well I bought the game on GOG during last weekend's sale and last night I played it for the first time. The game freezed and showed me the blue screen in the tutorial when you enter the first room where you use a gun, however, I played the tutorial 3 times today (just to be sure it isnt a game breaking bug or something like that) and nothing happened. A few minutes ago I was playing the first level and when I was in the UNATCO HQ the game freezed and showed the BSOD again.

Has this happened to someone else? Is there any fix for this?

Im using Windows XP on a 2008 mini laptop with 1gb of ram and 64mb of video. Im not using any mods, just the vanilla version of the game with the high resolution sound and that stuff

Silly rabbit you're going to have trouble on that computer. You don't have the minimum requirements:

1 GHz Processor (1.4 GHz recommended), 256MB RAM (512 recommended), 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 9, Mouse, Keyboard.

What speed is your processor? According to what you posted you have 64mb of video memory. Is this correct?

Yes I have 64mb of video memory. My processor is an Intel Atom N270 1.60ghz
