CaptainAppleMan: Note: This is for the Steam version, they're pretty much identical anyways

Whilst escaping from a boat in one of the NYC missions about half-way through the game, I quicksaved just as I was about to get off the boat, only for the game to crash soon after.
I closed and re-opened the game and loaded my quicksave, but it crashed again, and it keeps on doing this.

I really want help with this, and I don't want any half-assed solutions that involve me cheating, because that way, ALL of my key in-game decisions will be erased.
If you're getting any error messages, post them.

Take a screenshot of the error message, and ask at the Off-Topic Productions forums. I have no knowledge of the Unreal engine, but they have tons, and they all love Deus Ex.'

EDIT: Hang on, I have one idea. Were you at the PRCS Wall Cloud (the sub bay), and if so, did you abuse the infinite-skillpoint glitch there? There's an issue with skill points that can cause your game to crash if you've gotten too many.
