honx: is gog galaxy still required to be able to play the deus ex mankind divided and dlc?
or are game and dlc fully playable when using offline installers without gog galaxy?
i'd like to buy it in the current sale, but i'll NOT buy it, if i need galaxy shenanigans.

eolsunder: i don't believe you need Galaxy to run any of the games, its just a GOG launcher/installer but you can run and install them normally without using Galaxy, its just a simpler way to keep everything organized. it's like you don't need vortex or other nexus installers to download and install mods, its just makes it easier.

I often download and play games forgetting i have Galaxy up that i can do it through and they run fine. Its not needed, it just makes it quicker to look through and see everything.

What problem do you have with Galaxy, i've used it ever since they put it out and never had any problems with it, what problems are you running into, maybe they can be fixed easy
