I just installed the game on a new computer. When I press play, the launcher comes up, but when I try to play the game, it doesn't do anything and no application appears in the task manager. No error message, nothing happens at all. I've tried going to the .exe file and launching it as administration. Still nothing.

Hi, got nearly the same Problem (fresh install, no start) - however, I got a message while trying to start the .exe directly.
It told me the d3dx11_43 was missing. This can be found on the microsoft page by looking for
DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer
pay attention during installatin if you don't want the BING bar installed.

I'm having the same issue, but I did notice it does SOMETHING. It creates a "crash dump" file into the gam directory. Mine was labeled "Deus Ex - Mankind Divided-v1.19 build 801.0 2021-02-07-15-04-01.mdmp"
Ran as Admin and installed DirectX... again and still nothing...

One year passed away and problem still there...I bought deus ex 3 days ago with an discount,but after instalation game crashed to descktop and stuks with black screen in compability mode (win7/8)

So as i see there is no one good working method to lunch this game properly..
