It would be nice if someone answered this question. I know I'm waiting for Linux version to hit GOG.
We won't be getting any reply, but yeah, really disappointing that there is no Linux version of the game available at GOG.

I've been eagerly awaiting the Linux version, too. Hopefully it'll just take a few days and they'll add it soon. I'm relatively new to GOG, are they generally good at providing binaries for all platforms with new games? I presumed they would be, as no-DRM and Linux go together well :)

Did you try contacting developers?

I asked this question also in this thread.

Did you think it is matter?
Devs don't give a damn, they care about money.

They can tell you whether they plan to release it or not if you ask them directly. I doubt they read this thread though.

I asked in the Desperados Discord channel, there will be no GOG release:
"there is currently no plans of releasing it to GOG as the amount of users that uses those two systems on GOG is well very low we rather have those systems gathered in one place where it is easier to provide support and help if needed than spread out across multiple platforms where it then would be very hard to provide support and keep everyone on the same page."
Thanks for the info, sik.crash.

I'll pass on this one then.

This is a really bad response. I'm skipping this one and I'm not going to be "gathered in one place" for it.

Please relay it to developers, since I'm not using Discord.

I already left their servers since there is no reason to stay. I did not feel appreciated…
In case anyone was interested, here is a screenshot of this Discord conversation.

Oof, that sucks, thanks for looking into it, though. I'll remove it from my wishlist, then. I couldn't get the demo to run on wine last time I tried, though protondb suggests it is possible. Maybe I'll try that again sometime.

Instead, I just bought Shadow Tactics, so I'll remove my glasses and imagine the straw hats in that are cowboy hats. Seems like an appropriate solution.
