While playing a bit of the game last night, i began to talk out each role with an appropriate voice including the narrator to the story. Then i wonder...

Would QCF hire me to do voice acting?

It seems unlikely as you probably either do ALL voice cast, or NONE of it voice cast. Still....

I think i'll record like the beginning 20 minutes of my playthrough, get my voice in, chop out boring bits, and then upload (to YouTube) and see what everyone thinks. Maybe i'll make a wonderful mayor and horrible Narrator, or maybe i'll be good at both....

I'd agree it's probably an all-or-nothing thing. The narrator alone has some pretty heavy lines, but then there's all the bosses and various characters throughout the game... that's a lot of roles to fill. You could go ahead and record something and see if they like it, but I doubt they'll undertake something this big post-release. The best way to get the devs' attention is via email or their own forums.

I'd figure as much. I've done a short recording (shorter than i'd like, but it seems yelling at my cat messes up the microphone) and am currently re-encoding it before i upload it. Although the addition would be post-production, i don't see why they wouldn't add it if they really wanted to, except it would make the download considerably larger and unless the voice recordings were good quality and sufficiently humorous then it might actually take away rather than add to it.

Also considering they are a small studio/company they might not have the funds to really push for more advanced features for this, but might on their next title. Honestly i'd consider doing the line reading for free as a fan to enhance it rather than requiring to get paid, but it would still be an all-or-nothing. I might be able to do several voice and tones and accents, but i'm hardly a professional, it just seems right so i'm voicing them a certain way.
As I said, give it a shot if you'd like to. I don't think the devs have the resources to see this through (for the record, there are well over 50 distinct bosses in the game), but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with this.

Considering the bosses (that i've seen so far) only really give 1-liners, being unique probably isn't that important...

In about 20 minutes i'll post a link to the video/test, although it may take another half hour before they do their own thing with it to make it viewable on their network. I can only guess...
Here's the Narration test, can't promise too much...
