Great news! Deponia Doomsday [March 1] - Shardlight [March 8] - Day of the Tentacle Remastered [ Some Day in March] March will be a great month for adventure games!

I don't mind waiting until the game's available here on GOG, I just hope I won't have to wait too long.
It's worse than you might think. Daedalic is putting this game on the cover CD of a gaming magazine (tied to Germany's most despised tabloid, no less), and it's available on release day with the magazine at 9.99 €.

Of course, that cover CD version is tied to Steam.

However, Steam and retail versions are in all probablity at the known price tag of 29.99 € – that would in no way be a bad price for a great adventure game, but reeks foul after selling the game off for one third the price at initial release.

As to DRM free – who knows whether Daedalic's new owner Bastei Lübbe even lets them distribute on GOG,
and if they do, at what point in time after the release they deem it appropriate;
and when they do, whether they'd rather reserve the German voiceover for Steam folks.

As always, regional pricing will ensure that only German speaking folks will get the brunt of Daedalic's deeply unfair kamikaze marketing.

No problem, if we don't get it here or don't get the German Voice acting I just won't play it.

Would you be so kind and tell me the name of the magazin (PM or here)? Thanks!

Thanks! And of course DRM free is cool but not a must have for me.
I hope this will fix the Deponia 3's god awful ending. :)
I actually rather liked Deponia 3's ending. It kind of demonstrated how in a world gone mad, Rufus' madness might actually be needed. :|
...aaaaaand nothing on the release front over here. :(

It usually takes GOG a few days. But I'd still like a confirmation or denial from them so I can make arrangements.
If they're gonna "stock" it, I'm willing to wait a bit. If they're not, well then I'll have to go look elsewheres.

They have already said in a German interview that there will eventually be a DRM free version on disc as well as online.

Anyway, it should have been "day one"... :(
I have bought all the previous Deponia games on GOG and I won't buy Deponia Doomsday anywhere else, especially not bundled with Computer Bild...
I'll wait until Deponia Doomsday is released on GOG with German voice-overs. Considering all the other games I still need to play, I'm in no hurry to buy the new Deponia title (although knowing myself, I would probably buy it the day it's released).
yup, i saw it on gamersgate

Deponia Doomsday €26.99
(List price: €29.99)

thats quit expensive , even 23 euros would be much: old deponia 3 is €19.99 on gog
my most expensive game is 25 euros, usually they are around 15 euros for 1 game...
so the game will be on wishlist for a year or so till the price goes down....

for now i am looking for this simple adventure at 5.99 euros(you cant compare it with the deponia,
but Shadows on the Vatican Episode 1 is a decent game, certainly at 6 bucks...
got it on steam at 89 cents cause they were celebrating the release of the second part, i tried it, and it runs free from the client once installed ... ( 4eps x6 bucks =24 bucks, still cheaper then 30 bucks retail)

Minimum:
