First off, thank you GOG for bring one of my favorite childhood games back to life. But I am having a little problem. The audio is really choppy in the end cut scenes. Can't figure out why it would only be the end scenes and not the intro. I am using Win7 and have a SB sound card.

Have you tried using integrated audio instead? Not sure if your motherboard has it but it probably does. Also, try updating your SB's drivers and see if that helps.

In case of failure, please write to Support about hings like this :)
EDIT: The on-board audio (Realtek ALC898 on z77 mobo) works fine, if not better than the SoundBlaster X-Fi Ti HD. It fixes the problem of the missing audio clip beginnings.

Hey there! What a surprise Deadlock is, from hard to find abandon-ware to a Win7 wide-screen GOG title.

However, like you I am having an odd audio problem...all audio is silent for the first second or so of the sound/effect/speech then it kicks in.

Strangely enough, it worked just fine yesterday. But something happened and now it persists even after a re-install and PC fiddling.

PC:

Win7 x64
SB XFI HD with digital output
i7 cpu, z77 mobo, SSD, GTX770.

I might try integrated audio, which would be an unwelcome solution.
