Any idea if this hotfix is included in the GoG version of the game? As cannot find any information...so far only Steam seems to have had it.

No, it has a severe bug that destroys your saves. The hotfix was removed from Steam. A new version will be available on Steam hopefully tomorrow. I don't know when the GoG version will be available.

I think save issues were related strictly to synchronizing with the Steam cloud (Hotfix 2 is already released btw.).

yeah seems save issue was indeed steam related....but Hotfix 2 also brought some game fixes as well.
and we still don't know what version GoG has....mystery :)

so the official answer from GoG support folks is that no hotfixes are applied to the GoG version at the moment, though they are working on it apparently.

as for the future....will both versions (i.e. Steam/GOG) be updated at the same time (well, more or less)
As trying to decide where to buy it...prefer GoG as less hassle with online system, but also want an up to date game :)
