The manual says it decodes messages in multiplayer. I've never done this multiplayer, so what does that mean?

It's been a very long time since I used that skill (like, 10 years). But if I remember correctly, the higher your language skill, the more of a coded multiplayer message would be correctly revealed.

I can't remember how to send a coded message, and since most people co-op instead of pvp in Darkstone, it ended up being completely useless. My buddy and I tinkered with it just to play with it, but that's it. We never actually used or saw it used in any other way online since nobody seemed to PvP.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like an interesting design idea that just didn't pan out in practice.
