Has anyone been able to get the Journey in Uma quests to work with the GOG edition? I downloaded a copy of the file, tried setting it up under Darkstone/Quests as instructed in the readme file. That didn't work. I tried copying the file to the main Darkstone folder and that does not seem to work either. Any answers?

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure I got it working. I just followed the instructions as well. Make sure you're not in a protected file space (like program files or my documents). I suppose that could cause a problem.

Why do you need it? Isn't Journey In Uma already included in GOG version of the game?! It's pre-installed.

I don't know if Journey in Uma is included now, but when I purchased the game, it was not. I obtained Journey in Uma, along with other custom quests at http://darkstone.it-taucher.at/quests/ds_quests.php?lang=en

I checked it right now..
setup_darkstone_1.0.5b_(24324).exe (latest available)
Journey in Uma is included by default.

So there is no need to look for it
