This is another title I'm interested in, in particular if it runs on a netbook. Is 1024x600 supported?
(I'm not spamming forums, just shopping!)
No mention of this one on the netbook gaming threads I've found here and elsewhere.

I really don't think Darkstar One, which is a graphically heavy game, would even remotely run on a Netbook. The game chugs at times on a desktop machine, so I really don't think its even going to start because the minimum graphical requirement is for Pixel/Vertex shader 1.1 (Which is GeForce 3 and above). Sorry matey!
Good to know, thanks for the info.
After posting I found some gameplay video. Does look like a little much. After Freespace looked so good I was still hopeful though. Maybe when the Nvidia Ion netbooks come out.
Couldn't resist and bought the game, at least for my desktop if nothing else. Decided to try it out on my netbook regardless, just to see what happens.
It runs! But at a slow framerate, too slow for navigating and didn't go so far as to find a lot of objects on the screen. All graphics settings on low, and 1024x600.
It runs like Freespace 2 did before the FSO mod. Wondering if there are any optimization mods out there, that might be all it needs to be rolling well on the netbook. If I find anything, I'll post it here.
