Yeshu: "Please add virtual head pats to make feel like I'm achieving something wile playing a video game!"
Mawthra: Not this again... Achievements add value to a game not for a virtual pat on the back, but for the extra challenges thrown out there by the developer... they're good for second playthrough's, etc. Yah, some are the "Finished the tutorial", but... for games like this and like Hollow Knight, they add some crazy challenges on top of the game itself
Exactly this!
When I just think of the Achievements for Slain! and Death Cells which I already did on the PS and now also try to get on GOG (and maybe on STEAM afterwards) it is so much fun and adds value to the game.
I will however never understand why people have to troll around in this threads when they don't care about them.
On topic: Since the first two games have the full Trophy/Achievement support on both consoles and on STEAM I don't understand why it is not simply added to the GOG releases!
Also DS II has an achievement which needs a server since you have to gift a item to a friend which isn't possible anymore. Would love to see that fixed...can't be that hard if the Publisher/Devs want that to be fixed.
