I have the first one on GOG and it includes a download for the original. Does the 2nd remastered one also include the original for those who didn't already own the original on GOG?

Unfortunately no, the Deathinitive Edition not includes the original.

I will never understand such arbitrariness: Warmastered does include the classic version, but Deathinitive doesn't (???), plus they don't even leave the freedom to choose to purchase the old version in either case.

Happens the same thing with Shadow Man by the way, although this one has nothing to do with THQ Nordic.
