I've been looking for a better map for a while now, but either my google-fu skills are failing me, or there simply are no high res scanned maps of medieval Germany on the web.
Does anyone here have the original game with a map to scan? I saw it on eBay for about $60 but since I live in EU there would be at least twice that for shipping, and I just can't be bothered with it right now.

Might go to the library tomorrow, if I find something good I'll share it here.
If it is a map just to play the game (find the cities by name for example) there is a simple Flash map you can find on the web, and open it with your browser.

If you want a historical map (not just a modern map detailing the situation back then), you can look in http://www.davidrumsey.com/ . You won't find medieval maps, but the 18th and 19th centuries ones of central Europe and Germany specifically that I remember seeing are crazily detailed (and finding something in them if you do not have a general idea of the area is really tough).

Edit: Just in case someone wanted to see the map I redid the link. It seems the forum messed them up some time ago.

I have the original maps and one in Particular for the game it's the original map in greyscale with a 8x8 grid with the cities listed in each quadrant. it's great if you print it out as a reference card. I also put the copy protection symbols on it. I would attach the files but I can't really figure out how. I get" to large a file" or "wrong file type" any thought's I would be happy to share. I also have full size city planners don't care for the ones out there. but same problem
Thanks, just what I was looking for. Not playing the game right now, but it's the kind of thing that's handy to have.

I guess you could zip the files and use https://www.justbeamit.com/ and post the link here, or send it to me in a PM.
You can download it as a zip from the site itself without much hassle (it works just fine with an HTML5 browser). There is an 'Export' button in the upper right corner of the viewer. Just press it, select the highest resolution available from the list and it will download (after a while, because it generates it on the spot) a zip file with a jpeg.

The one for the map I linked is less than 10Mb and still looks pretty good.

All I'm getting is a 'Server not found' page :( Any other links to the map? Thanks.

EDIT, sorry, scrap that, it's my internet playing up :(

Btw, great site, thanks for the link.

Could you try putting it up on mega.co.nz please? Thank you!
