Hi, I like modding for playing and tweaking myself. I have seen that for Gog I can go to Nexus mods site to get several classes and skins among other things.
If someone here has experience with the modding can clarify me some questions?
I have seen that recent mods are released to be put on the mod folder and load them stacked by priority even in current games. However I have seen mods by ActionJack where he tells to place all the content in the actual folders of the game instead of the mod folder and to enable the location; plus, he also tells to edit the effects file adding text lines at the bottom, which is a dangerous way because you alter a game file.
I think these mods are old and the mod support wasn't made yet. Is there any warning using this kind of mods, could they be safely put on the mod folder provided the folder structure is created? Would be possible to create effect files by itself. I am barely seeing how the files work and any help would be great.
Thanks.
