I really hope there is. I don't want to spend most of release day downloading it. Makes me cringe thinking of the plebs playing it before me.

Thought I don't care who's playing it before me, I was also wondering if there would be a pre-load. In all my time using GOG/Galaxy I can't recall if they've ever done any preloading. As long as the CDN doesn't buckle under the pressure and I can get close to my dl bandwidth I'm ok with there not being a preload.

Would be great if they could add the option. It would be a big help for those whom have sluggish internet connection. My guess is that GOG would get the game files first to Steam since its directly from CDPR. It would not make sense if Steam is able to preload but GOG doesn't.

That last part was kind of a joke, maybe. No one was responding so I decided to entertain myself.

Yea like me. Maybe if I start D/Ling it early enough I can finish it by late afternoon, but I'd prefer to have it pre-loaded so it's ready to go on launch day.

There likely will be. You could preload Witcher 3 from GoG in full-standalone and via Galaxy on May 11th(2015) and the game was released May 19th(2015).

Please forgive the question, but I live in the US and am rather ignorant as to European time zones. Are you in the same time zone as Poland?

A couple of channels on Youtube are stating 12/9 for the US.

yea just saw a new post from cdpr with the time zones for download and i am in western canada so actually get it at 5 pm on the 9th. it shows GMT in england as 00:00 time on the 10th which is 8 hours later than me so not a preload just letting it all release based on that time zone. great for me suchs for people in asia and aus as they show going live in the evening on the 10th.
