We have about 3 months until Cyberpunk 2077 releases and they still haven't released minimum/recommended hardware specs. When do they plan on releasing this info? I recently upgraded my cpu but I've been waiting on absurd GPU prices to get back to normal and to see which card CDPR recommends and they are just taking their sweet time with this coveted info.

No date yet. Maybe on the 25th for Nightcity Wire.

Ok, it is bad we dont have the specs yet and cant talk about. But on the other hand it is a indication they still optimize the game, which is good.

lace_gardenia: it's kinda weird, isnt it? we are this close to the release date, there have been plenty of gameplay video, and still no actual system specs. cant think of any other game that was like that.
Yeah very odd it use to be system requirements were one of the first things revealed.
My best bet why the info is not yet released is that CDPR is fine-tuning the engine and uber-optimizing it so it can run smoothly on a wider range of graphic cards. Like a similar approach to what iD software did with Doom [2016] which is extremely well optimized.
I thought 17 September 2020 is confirm

The release date for game is the 17th of September, as of now. But nothing for the system requirements.
I hope it doesn't require like $1500 of hardware to play it with any degree of enabled graphic content

1440p / ultra settings and all maxed out / 60 fps
maybe yes. We'll see.
As Xgribbelfix said, on june 25th at Night City Wire event i hope they share the system specs and also i hope they show all the ingame graphics settings we can set up.

I am waiting for the specs to be released too. I need to see if I can preorder or must wait so I can afford a decent pc. I would consider a console, but I hate playing shooters with gamepad.

At the event -
"We have great news about spec requirements and game play. It's been determined you can play it as a text game on any system. Isn't that exciting??"
