These aren't really spoilers, since they have been shown during gameplays, but just in case, spoiler warning.

You play as V, a mercenary. During the prologue, which differs based
on your lifestyle, you encounter Jackie, who either already is one, or you make friends with him. Then, you start doing some jobs for dexter deShawn. During one of those missions, Jackie dies, and Dexter attacks you. The chip is probably the one with Jonhy Silverhand's soul.

Anything i missed?

The relationship between Silverhand and V looks adversarial at first as he tries to "possess" you, then it smooths out some as the two learn to live with each other. Some of the missions are for you, some for him, and Silverhand will take over V's body at least a few times, so you wind up playing as Silverhand. Recommend watching Night City Wire 5 on YouTube. It gives a nice set of hints as to the plot.
