This has happened twice. I aborted the first time. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions (short of uninstalling Cyberpunk, which, depending on the new download, may not even correct it)? Thanks.
Yup, I will try with the offline installer of the patch. Maybe it would be a little more faster.

It was the same for me. It's taking about ten minuts per 1% after 56% or so, at least on my HD. SSD users will probably have everything wrapped up in a few minutes.

Still applies that patch 586 mb, i wait already 1+ hour, is it safe to cancel this? Can i somehow disable further updates? Because it is longest game update i ever seen over my life

If the disk use is high in task manager, just leave it running. Mine is steadily, if slowly, climbing up. Very slowly.

I don't know if I'd want to use the word steadily here. My teenage daughter does her chores faster then this thing patches.

N43: Stuck at 61% first time also - the HDD is on 100% Usage... After Restarting GOG - it does nothing.
Restarted the patch - same thing - now at 57%

@sigmer are you sure? have you tried to check for updates manually?
exacly the same thing here hdd on 100%

#edit: Oh boy, it's picking up after the 62% mark.

Just curious, has anyone tried the non-Galaxy offline patch? Does it use the same behaviour?

Ok, good news: after about an hour to get from 56 to the low 60s, it only took a further twenty minutes or so to go the rest of the way.

Well my update stuck at 57% and after a few minutes completely hung my system. Ctrl-alt-Delete didn't function to bring up the task manager.

89% here... been patching over two hours now.

This is the last time I'm patching this thing. I'm getting refund next time.

I can't even get the patch, still stuck on 1.03. Tried "check for updates" on the game several times, there's just no download to be had.
