Update v1.04 - Stuck at 57% while applying patches

This has happened twice. I aborted the first time. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions (short of uninstalling Cyberpunk, which, depending on the new download, may not even correct it)? Thanks.
Same thing is happening to me as well.
I suggust to wait for a bit. Had the same apparent problem and it continued after a few minutes. Now at 64% and rising!
This update apparently changes a lot of data, it temporarily needs about 60 GB of free space.

You either don't have that much free space, or the process is slow. It took about 10 minutes on my SSD to apply the changes.

Check the disk usage in task manager to see if something is happening.

I was stuck at 92% for like 45 mins, then i closed the gog galaxy, rebooted my pc, started up gog galaxy again and it were like instantly done, i verified my files just to be sure nothing was broken, and it was not.
Yeah, mine updated in a few minutes.
Stuck at 61% first time also - the HDD is on 100% Usage... After Restarting GOG - it does nothing.
Restarted the patch - same thing - now at 57%

@sigmer are you sure? have you tried to check for updates manually?
It's gone up 2% in the last 20 minutes I'm starting to think uninstalling and starting from scratch would be the faster option...

Same here! Restarted GOG and its moving up slowly so hoping that did it. HDD is also at 100% usage right now and the game has taken up 119GB storage.

EDIT: Its now at 70% and climbing which means that restarting GOG did it!

I exited GOG and even restarted my computer still the same.. It's like I am downloading the entire game again. This is more frustrating than the issues in the game itself.

it took me about an hour to go from 57% to 59% after that it was fine, I'd personally advise against interrupting the installation process, just be patient it'll get there in the end.
no problems here..took my WD_BLACK SN750 NVMe 5 minutes to do the job however gog always brings it up to maximum temperature while apply or unpacking

The new patching system in galaxy is HORRIBLY slow..
It's like they are doing the old style patches where they literally rewrote all the tiny areas inside the archives.

Problem is with fast d/l speeds (50mbit+) it's WAAAAY faster just to d/l the big data files and overwrite the old ones.
Im stuck at 92% now. I can hear my HD buzzing away ...buzzes for a second, stops, for a second, buzzes again..etc etc

And no, not the HD is dying clicking...just the HD is busy doing stuff. But it's driving me up the f'ing wall.

edit: might not want to stop and restart GOG as some have suggested. I just tried that and it went from 92% back to 60% and it's not moving any faster then it was before it stopped at 92%. So now I have to wait all over again and I'm betting it'll stop at 92% again.

It's working. You just have to wait. long. very long.

The thing is, it makes a full copy of the game, applies the update, etc. With that size (60GB), things take.

At worst, let it do "over night" or so :/
