I know you guys are taking a huge round of whining from the console phelbs right now. You just made the game to complex and huge to work on last gen console trash hardware. I only had 1 soft crash on launch day and several easly fixed graphical bugs, fixed by simply reloading or taking of a article of clothes and putting it back on. And Since the 1.04 patch only 2 minor bugs that simply opening a screen or or reloading fixed. I The game is fantastic and im loven it.

Thank you from a happy and satified pc player.
If it's trash hardware (despite this game being in development and suppose to be released prior to any knowledge of the current gen stuff), are you suggesting CDPR are scammers for selling people a product they knew wouldn't work on their hardware?
I also still fail to see what is so complex or even huge about this game? RDR2 performs buttery smooth on base PS4 and looks amazing, and I'd argue that world looks much nicer graphically.

yeah, the city and crowd density in rdr2 is also MUCH bigger!
oh wait...
i mean sure, rdr2 looks impressive, especially what they done trackmarks in dirt roads and the snow. but detail whise its just a different world.

I mean AC Unity did crowd density years ago. If the NPC's actually did more than stand around or squat down when you attack someone, I'd agree but at least right now they really don't add much to the game IMO. It doesn't feel like they have lives, rather just stock background NPCs to fill space.

Also point with RDR2 is it handles base PS4/X1 just fine. It pretty much requires the same (recommended specs) on PC as CP77. I'll ignore PS exclusives such as Spider Man and TLOU2 which are beautiful looking games that perform well on the base PS4, since it's easier to code for a single system, but even Watch Dogs Legion runs and looks good on base PS4. So the issue is not old consoles, it's just poorly optimized game. Also with the amount of PC users with good setups having issues, not sure why OP would blame consoles anyway.
What OP said - for fans of cyberpunk genre (books, tabletops, games) this is an awesome piece of art. Night City is the place to be :)

My hardware being not top notch (i7 9700k, fast RAM, nvidia 1070) is capable of running the game in 4k (not UHD though :( ) in a smooth enough manner (don't care about fps numbers). The engine does an awesome job on giving a seamless experience of this mega(polygon) city without microstutters - even if I'm driving on warp speed with my bike / car. The streaming tech is very nicely done.

I can only guess as to why people on PC have problems with their hardware combination in this game - but I rarely have any PC issues myself while the internet is swarming with people crying for help then. Either I'm lucky or my job pays off (software engineer) and I somewhat treat my tech stuff right.

A pity about the last gen console situation - then again I'd never put it there on the first place if I'd be in CD Project Reds shoes. That was a bad business decision IMHO to make some additional eddies. This game clearly isn't for yesterdays tech and there was no need to cater them - as we are on the brink to get next gen consoles.

I'm looking forward seeing RTX in this game next year (once the prices got more stable and the VRAM went up - not buying something for 800€ which has only 8-10GB o,O).

tldr; awesome game; runs well on my crappy hardware and looks breathtaking; glad playing on PC [as always]

same its really good i don't know why people hate it so much
but i have a good gaming pc so i can see why people hate if you try to play it lets say 1060
I'm also loving the game, its very inmersive, fun and complex.
Even though there are some visual/sound/mechanics bugs here and there, some are really fun.
Like the time i did the psycho quest with the summoning, and the voice in the background didnt left me at all.
So i was always listening to the creepy sound on every mission after that.
Or when voices stopped working for some reason (included radio) but i was able to listen to every other sound in the game. You really notice the love they poured into the game when you can listen to every small detail without all the other noise around.

I think the best decision would have been to just release the game on PC and after they get to make everything work properly, release it for next gen consoles only. As even on PC it is quite demanding.
