Things you would expect to work in an open world game such as functioning AI, proper physics, and the ability to change appearance (barbers, surgeons) in game, are flat out not here ? My number one question is what were you guys doing these past 8 years ? It hurts because the game itself is actually fun! But the bugs and glitches damn near ruin the experience. This is a complete disappointment for fans across the globe. CD Projekt is never getting another dime from me and Im done buying games off of GOG. From now on all CD Projekt Red products are going to get pirated :), how about that ?

I've been pirating for over twenty years lol. I rarely if ever buy games. Because most games aren't deserving of my money.
If devs can't be bothered to make a game properly why should I pay for it?

People like you are part of the reason why the rest of us can't have nice things. And I bet you still bitch like an asshole whenever you're the one getting screwed by government idiocy, or some insurance company being dickheads, or some company rejecting your product reclamation.

If your attitude is that law is irrelevant and all that matters is your own enjoyment, no matter what the cost is to others, then expecting anything else from anyone else would be rank hypocricy. You are effectively asking for that same societal model depicted in the game, and by your actions you are encouraging all the game developers to not bother with quality and go for live services bullshit instead.

You don't find any games anymore that are "worth your money"? That's because you're looking for any excuse to get it for free. And no, developers don't get to make games "properly" anymore, in part because people like yourself make that insufficiently profitable for the money people that cover the initial development expenses. On top of that, those money people think exactly like you do, meaning with fuck all regard for anyone else and exclusively focused on their own benefit, and why should they not?

I could excuse this kind of juvenile stupidity if you were in fact just a confused youth who hadn't yet had time to figure shit out, but if you've pirating for 20 years then obviously that's not your excuse either. Which doesn't really leave a whole lot. You can dress up your delusional sociopathy any way you like it, but ultimately you're just another leech being part of the problem rather than part of the solution.

@Arachnarok_Rider

Lmao, Corporate slaving at its finest. Understand this, you say we are leeching in an unfair and unjust way right? Then why is it in the year 2020 I cant purchase a game that was marketed to be ready on release day without it being riddled with bugs? These corporations like CD Projekt don't care if they robbed me of $60. The whole argument of us being "sociopath's" is so dramatic its not even funny. I pay gamepass every single month because there is no reason to purchase any game nowadays whatsoever. If you want to be a slave to these corporations be my guest, but me, I'd rather screw them as I please thank you very much...

I get most value out of Gamepass and Humble Bundles these days. Compared with these, a release like Cyberpunk is really not cutting it for 60 bucks. If anything, they should pay us for playtesting.

LOL! Game publishers put in protection so pirated games can't be copied and won't work. All the past methods no longer work. So now there is denuvo. Which does work. For a while. Which gives developers initial sales. I just wait it out until it's cracked. They could make more money but not from me. And other pirates arrrgh lol!

I have observed the world and that is what our leaders are doing. Ever heard the term lead by example. They have taught me to do it. So if anyone's to blame it's them.

This is the problem

When we are paid what we're owed then it will be a different world.

When that is more in our favour then maybe I'll consider not pirating. Until then all those ones and zeros are mine hahaha!

I don't know the extent to which you base your gaming on piracy. I responded to Reg, who was proud to have pirated his shit for 20 years. And who you seemed to be in total agreement with.

Yes, corporations are soulless scum and at this point it would indeed appear that CDPR have well and truly cemented their place pretty high up on the vermin list. Believe me, you don't want to hear what I think about corporate executives without filter. It is not nice. It is not polite. It is not family friendly wordage that belongs in the public space.

But complaining about the corporate bullshit rings rather hollow if you're resorting to similar behavior. Just how it is. Can't really complain much about animal welfare in the French foie gras production either, if you're in full support of the American chlorinated chicken industry.

Frankly, I don't care if someone just wants to try something without fronting the money. It is still illegal and obviously that decision to break the law is something they'll have to own up to, but the general concept of it does not grind my gears. Trying shit and then either buying it or not buying is a very common model of commerce and I don't see any reason to get my testicles bunched up over it.

But what you're proposing appears to be a different model, one where you get to have full access to anything and everything and then you may deign the service or good worthy of a tip afterwards. Possibly. But probably not, because this effort or that effort only deserves endless exploitation without any compensation. That is not a model of commerce, that's somewhere between kleptomania and megalomania. It's essentially the schoolyard bully who decides that if you grovel enough and kiss his shoes then he may let you have some of your lunch money.

Don't want to pay triple-A fee? Product not worth quite that much? Sure. That is reasonable. Then wait for the game to go on sale and then buy it. Problem solved. Or lease the game on Game Pass, play it while you can be arsed, and move on when you can't. That's a perfectly sensible way to go about it. Do you think Reg, the guy I replied to, the guy you hit it off with and totally agreed with, the guy who is proud to have been pirating his shit for 20 years, is even doing that much? Because I sure don't.

I'm not the bully. I'm fighting back from being bullied. All those fucken assholes that bullied me back in school are now going to feel the pain one hundred fold. They put in effort to get where they are. And I get to enjoy the benefits. I'm not talking about devs. But CEOs and managers. And those higher ups. Everytime I pirate a game it feels good knowing that those higher ups can't afford that new yacht or car. Or whatever generic clichéd bullshit they spend their money on. Paybacks a bitch cunts.

I do buy games. I haven't pirated every game. I originally did it because I couldn't afford to buy all the games I wanted to. But then I kept doing it. I've saved a lot of money. Money that I use to upgrade my PC. Or for a new build.

idk abt any1 of ya, i find 90% of ppl on gog and steam as typical android users, i play on decent enough settings and my game is running smooth, playing the whole story second time, abut the bugs if there are any didnt caught any of my attention, name the game that is bug free, u can still find tons of glitches in them..... i still feel CDPR did a good job on this game and does deserves more love

I agree that with all the options nowadays there is no valid reason to pirate a game any more. Prices have been adjusted for many markets to reflect local buying power, game is released across global markets at the same time, you have lease/rent options, you have right to refund on many platforms etc.

Most of the "valid" reasons to pirate (like lack of timely access to a title or completely out of reach price) have been removed by the developers and publishers.
Pirating shows weak testicular fortitude and a willingness to screw your fellow man. The corps are going to get their money regardless. The only thing you can do to stop that is stop electing rich people to public office.
You may want to read up on the new rules concerning copyright in the new gigantic pork bill if your in the USA. I doubt the government is smart enough to catch anyone but the Copyright holders will do it. Theres an excellent write up on it on PCGamers I think. If it gets signed it's gonna totally screw up everything.
The bad part is the CASE act.
