Just seeing if anyone else is having this issue. For the last 2 hours I've been stuck at 55 GB of 55 GB and it just says "Applying Patches" but it is still downloading? Not exactly sure what in the world it think it is doing. Also it has 60% completed listed. Anyone?

Yea I've been stuck at 92% for the last 30 minutes. I read to just let it keep going. This kinda sucks though, hope it doesn't delay me playing.

just got 96%. applying is VERY SLOW :D

If you're having problems, it's possible to re-install the game, it will install the new version.

Just wondered. Mine is at 60% for the last 2 hours. Started with 9.1 GB, then 20 (something), 31 and now 55. I think it is confused lol.

thanks, but just got 100%. seems galaxy is repacking archives, so that is why a bit slow

Did you do anything to make it finish? Does it have to have a certain amount of hd space?

was just wainting... had like 4.37 gb space left before patch begun to apply, at the end it was like 4.35 gb

Not for me. I won't be able to play until who knows when. I leave for work at time of launch. Just making sure I don't have to do something special to get it to be ready when I get off work, since it's been stuck for hours now.

Yeah I know what that's like last time I pre-ordered a game was Quake Wars with the metal box and what a let down that was not only didn't it work on release nobody wanted to play it.

WTF is in this 600MB patch that it has my hard drive running at 100% for 3 hours and is still stuck at 57%? I was hoping to play this weekend. I've been stuck "applying patches" on a 600MB patch for hours now.
At this point I just uninstalled the game and I'm downloading fresh. If this happens again I'll won't be downloading it again, at least for the next few months until it's fixed.

I had to hit pause then resume to get mine to finish when at 92%

This is just what happens to me now, within an hour it completed only 5% of patching. It seems the patch is re-writing entire game files or something, and they seem to think everyone are running this from an SSD (I'm not). I paused now to see if it works - even after pausing the HDD is working at full capacity... waiting for it to calm down then resuming.

This patch took me 2+ hours (i'm not kidding) and yes, i have PC above "recommended" (except i still use HDD instead of SSD), i never seen something like this. i disabled further updates
