meatwizard: I see a few people stating that they are probably overwhelmed and therefore refunds will take some time.

Given the state of this game, they should have hired more people to work on their refund team. I would imagine they would have to lay them off soon though.
I played the game for 2 hours, then uninstalled it and asked for a refund probably will take time. I don't even want to install it or try it.

TencentInvestor: There is another thing I want to say on the topic of refunds.

GOG committed to a policy of allowing refunds even after playing a game during a 30 day period after purchasing.
The Cyberpunk we got on launch is effectively an early access game and will remain one for months to come. Playtime should not influence the ability to refund this unfinished game, regardless of whether you played it for 2 hours or 200 hours during this launch window. This game is work in progress mislabeled and falsely marketed as a finished product.

I believe I have said all there is to say on this matter by now and will refer GOG to my forum posts should any questions about my refund request arise. I will not forget what CDPR has done here but life goes on and redistributing my money to developers who don't lie in my face is a first step to a better future.
I concur. At this point I'm not mad or upset at CDPR because they have done no different than the likes of EA, Blizzard, Ubisoft, and Bethesda. I am not upset that game urinalists are talking about literally anything but the actual important aspects of the game itself. I am enraged that so many of my fellow consumers have become apologists and excuse this garbage when they would in the same breath condemn the aforementioned 4 horsemen of bad videogame development.

Now with CDPR, we have 5 horsemen. Better and more true RPG's and triple A games exist, so it's not like anything was lost; those old great games still exist. CB2077 will simply be scrubbed as another failed massive investment of time and effort like Anthem or ME: Andromeda.

Unfortunately this is what happens when small devs become big devs. Power corrupts.
Over a week since I requested a refund now and still no word back.

I'll probably start the process with Paypal tomorrow to get my refund that way.

Same here. I'm pretty sure this is on purpose. If they delay the refunds beyond december the end of year and Q4 numbers will still look good.
Can confirm that I'm having issues as well, I requested a refund last Friday and when I requested a cash refund instead of their store credit it's been nothing but silence so far and now I am getting annoyed. It should go without saying but behaving this way towards people who want refunds is not a good look for them especially when they said to go ahead and do it. At this rate I'm worried they'll just wait it out and hope we go away.

That would make my opinion of them drop even more, I can't believe we are at this point with this company and GOG. Every little shred of credibility, good will and respect has been blown away and things are just getting worse by the day.

I also noticed that the negative reviews on GOG regarding CP2077 are getting heavily downvoted despite being well written and based on the state of the game in its current form. Coincidence?

That's my concern as well. That would really destroy all trust I have in CDPR.

I think they froze the rating system for the game, it hasn't moved anymore since the day it launched.

To be honest it is not as much of a broken game for PC as it is for Console but their censorship will bring even more hate to the game and is why I'm asking for a refund. I'm not sure if you noticed but with the whole game:Devotion debacle it does show how brain dead users in generally are about censorship. cause they have been looking away for years as GOG with a woke curation policy rejected games left and right. Not to mention this sites mods were Tyrannical if you didn't agree with them.
The only other time i became so disapointed in a game was with the no mans sky fiasco.

There is no rpg in this rpg.
Quests are boring and forgetfull. Most of them are simply "go there and do that" with little to none backstory for them.
The world is just boring. Nothing of note happen in it. There is no life in nigh city.
The so called "meaningfull choices" simply doesnt exist. You literally only have one choice to advance the story in almost all dialogues.

The "romance will be a big part of cyberpunk" was another lie. You have ONE romance option for each sexual orientation. Oh, and you have ONE "courtesan" for each sexual orientation. The Witcher 3, a game several years back, had 9 + 2 romance options + 2 extras.

I am mad with myself for letting this company trick me into buying this. I'm not even excited to continue playing this thing. I have several older games, even free ones, better than this.
I've been waiting a week for an answer...

Plz GOG !

AlexanderK85: I too asked for a refund. Game says I played 45 hours, but most of that time was me leaving the game in manu as I was tending to my wife and son who came down with the damn corona virus (I have it too).Actual real playtime is more like 20 hours which in turn was spent on a lot of side mission stuff to really get a sense of the world and game gameplay. This game is just so awful and bad in regards to actual content I was baffled and shocked.

Also got the automated "wallet funds" offer but replied I want it in real cash. Had not heard anything since yesterday about it. In the meantime I got even more sick of the idea of even having the game installed, I removed it and hope this will speed up the game progress.

Having watched some of the game endings on YouTube I can not even imagine picking this up again in the future. Wow. Just wow.... I almost made a preorder of this more than a year ago and got a new PC for this release....
Don't feel bad AlexanderK85, I did select the GOG wallet and still nothing, no funds, no explanations nada...Sincerely hope you and your family get over covid quickly and with no ill effects.
Has anybody actually got a refund since release? How long did it take?

Even if they're busy, it will take more time, but for sure SOMEONE had to be among the first in line of support.
