happystuffing: Let's start a refund thread shall we?
I took up GOG on their refund policy. Instead I was given a canned email question if I would accept store credit instead. After giving them a hard NO, I would like a refund to my VISA, they have been radio silent.

Anyone else feel like they are being screwed over on this whole Cyberpunk 2077 experience? Or lack thereof..
dgnfly: The bugs don't bother me that much with such a big scale game I could understand those problems. but if you look at another thread you can see they might have gone "Woke" with censoring nudity. Censorship is in my eyes a sin that is inexcusable.
The offline patch installer isn't working at all so I can't even update at the moment. But I blame that on the GOG staff for being useless as usual. kinda like how they curate things on this platform and censoring anybody who criticises their decisions.
I've already had the pleasure of modifying my penis size to be "large" so it's a bit too late to go woke in the nudity for me! Not fooling this guy! However, the offline patch worked here so I'm sorry about that.

Ajax1983: No, I don't feel screwed. Sure it was annoying, but this isn't anything I haven't seen before (Bethesta anyone?). Everyone seems to forget that this is a massive complicated game, that was completed under unusual circumstances (pandemic) and it was always going to be buggy to some extent. At some point they were going to have to stop working on it and release it. Remember the ridiculous amount of outrage over the 3 week delay? People wanted it and they got it. With some persistence one can resolve some of the issues and play the game. I've got maybe 12-15 hours in. Yes, it crashes about every hours or so, but I'm liberal with my quicksaves and so I lose little progress.
Let;s not use Bethesda as an excuse for this behavior. They could have called it an open beta for those who wanted it before it was ready and that would have been acceptable. Yes, it is complicated, but it IS dishonest to call this a 1.0 game when it is really more like a .90 beta. It IS a BETA version.
