I wish I had a refund like you do, but I've been waiting 25 days and they still haven't responded.

happystuffing: Let's start a refund thread shall we?

I took up GOG on their refund policy. Instead I was given a canned email question if I would accept store credit instead. After giving them a hard NO, I would like a refund to my VISA, they have been radio silent.

This was two days ago.

Anyone else feel like they are being screwed over on this whole Cyberpunk 2077 experience? Or lack thereof..
The last thing we need is another refund thread! Everyone was outraged when the game was delayed CDPR got death threats "release the game or we'll kill you!" now it's "how can they put out a game with bugs!". Suck it up buttercup and wait for the patches like everyone else GEEZ!

Qwertian: Did any of you refunders get money back to card? I've send a second ticket now and they replied by asking if I'm okay with gog funds. I'm pondering whether I should accept anyway or ask for just money.
It took about 24 days for a human response from the initial refund request and another 2 days to reflect in my credit card account.

The fanatics are here, and anyone actually burned by these liars & defenders of a company of liars, as well as defenders of a year of crunch at nearl 100 hours a week towards the peon devs are gross..

I'm just glad to see some folks who've been waiting weeks finally get some gesture from the company that shows honor.

Mygogac: Refund is complete, money to my account today, all is good.

Ticket date 13/12.

Just so you know how much it takes more or less.
Same here.
Though I wouldn't say that all is good. But a good lesson was learned by most, probably.
Not all, of course. Some people never learn.

Anyway, I have now spent the money I was refunded on another company's better games instead.
So my work here is done. CDP stock's down another 7% into this weekend, too. It's now near the COVID shock low of March 2020. I feel justice has been done. Cyberpunk 2077 is a stain that won't wash off. I am honestly glad to have nothing to do with it any longer.

Bye, friends.

I got money back to my card, it took them about 3 weeks before i got a human response and then about 3 days before i got the money back.
Got my money refunded to my credit card yesterday (01/09/21). It took about 9 days (applied for a refund on 01/01/21) and I bought the game at launch. So be persistent and as long as you're within 30-day window you can still get the refund. Good luck to all willing.

lmc2002: Have been waiting since the 18th, seeking it directly back in to my PayPal (since considering recent events I don't plan on buying from them any time soon).

Still no progress so far.
Just to update anyone who has been waiting the same amount of time I have, this STILL hasn't changed.
Refund request on 20/12/20 got the automated emails and responded with wanting a credit to my card straight away. Nothing since then. Judging that others have got refunds in a shorter time, it's looking like the tickets arent being resolved chronologically :(
Hi all. Still waiting for my refund as well. Just a heads up: I opened my ticket tonight and saw “awaiting your reply” in the status. Last month, I replied to the automated message stating that I needed the refund onto my credit card and not gog wallet credit and it has been labeled open ever since. I received the notice stating everyone who requested the refund will get it and my status was still open. I haven’t received a single email since then, but for whatever reason, my stats changed to awaking your reply sometime in the last two weeks.

I added to my support message that I still wanted the refund and my status went back to open.
After all that, I finally got the refund. Keep pressing them if you want it!
