I submitted a refund request on the 11th. I finally got a reply yesterday but it was just an automated email suggesting I try updating graphics drivers and other 'solutions' but if I still wanted a refund I should reply. I replied stating I wanted a refund to the GOG wallet (as I had replied to the initial response 3 weeks ago) but now the system is just sending me the same email every hour and marking my ticket as 'Awaiting your reply' each time. If I reply to the email to keep my ticket open it just sends it again and changes the ticket again an hour later....

Sounds like they are trying very hard to block the refund process for many, I've been hearing this from friends, too, my family member, after that permaban, has fully refunded his PS4 copy, and I am glad he did.
Apparently my refund request was solved (see atachments)... At least for GOG, not for me.

Money is not on my GOG account and neither on my Paypal account.

A nice GOG support member has (or at least tried to) resolved another of my tickets about a mouse issue but nobody has contacted me in person for the refund problem and...

I don't need any human being answering my refund request.

1. I bought my digital copy on GOG.
2. I requested a refund via GOG support center.
3. I have accepted the refund on GOG Wallet funds.

1+2+3= I should have had my refund right then, automatically. At least I would be able to buy some games in the Winter Sale... On GOG... And yes, one or two months from now, when Cyberpunk 2077 is really completed I'm going to buy it because it will be a great game..

17 days waiting for the real refund now.

Come Monday it is week 3.0 for me.

GOG officially failed to get my refund done in 2020, too.
I will throw more money at Gabe Newell, see how big he can get.

At this point, I'm fully behind Steam, they have accepted Adults Only indie developers, which is progressing the gaming genres, CDPR is going backwards into EA and Epic Games territory, forever imho. I see nothing good from them anymore unless they change, and change fast, but once a company goes this route, most stay like EA and Epic and that's that, because, profit.

Just wanted to drop a message that I got a response from one of the support folks. They have removed the game from my library and will transfer the money back to my bank account in the next few days.

I got my refund today after 17 days.

I'll probably buy Cyberpunk again during the Steam Autumn sale if it's 50% off.

I'd wait for it to be around 80% off, that's about how much of the game is missing.
Have been waiting since the 18th, seeking it directly back in to my PayPal (since considering recent events I don't plan on buying from them any time soon).

Still no progress so far.
Quick Update:

Got an email today from support informing me that they've completed my request. They apologized, and explained that they've been really busy. I confirmed that my funds have been transferred, and the game has been removed from my library. It took a little over 2 weeks, but I can still get in on that winter sale.

Good luck to the support staff, and to everyone here waiting for their refund.
Clean 2 weeks and no refund.

Chargeback will be initiated with my bank tomorrow.

An excessive delay in refunding an already abysmal and mis-sold product is beyond insult.

With Steam, I’ve only needed 3 refund applications in 5 years; all 3 were actioned within an hour of applying. Say what you want about Steam; and they indeed have many faults, but provided you are under 2 hours I have found them to be like clockwork in fulfilling their customer promises.

The real kicker here is my playtime is less than 2 hours, but stupidly went for GOG over Steam to support CDPR, naively believing that they would indeed ‘leave the greed to others’. What a load of old rollocks.

Damage limitation should include expediting refunds. In before that same CDPR boot-deepthroater tries to sermon me on born-again GOG evangelicism.

Glad you got on the last chopper out of Saigon.

Spare a thought for those of us still in the long grass getting painfully shafted by Ho Chi Min.
