You say you "disputed the charges" - did you create a dispute in PayPal? As it seems this is the only successful method of acquiring a refund so far.

No, I did it with the credit card company.
Got the same question: 'Do you want GOG wallet funds?'. Hell no. I want my money out of GOG and back in my account. The whole point of asking a refund is to extract my money from this fiasco and make it abundantly clear to GOG/CDPR that this is unacceptable.

I'm sure my 60 euro is not impressive to them, but it's the thought that counts. You don't get to keep it in a 'wallet' if you provided a faulty product.
yikes, so sad to see this with everyone not getting refunds paid out in a timely manner.

I also submitted a refund request over a week ago. Only got the initial reply and I sent reply asking for refund back to paypal. From there no response. I reached out via email again and still no response.

So I just opened a dispute ticket on paypal today.

I just want my refund and delete this garbage off my PC.

SilentScythe: Hey there

Just wanted to add to this post with my experience.

After playing the game for a bit and mulling over whether to let the game sit for a few months or get a refund, I decided on the latter. Requested a refund on the 13th. Responded to the automated message confirming I was fine with funds being returned to my GOG wallet. Now I'm just waiting. I'll come back and post something when I get an update from support.

Good luck, everyone.
Me too. Seven days and counting. Two refund request in GOG wallet funds (thought it would be the fastest way. Silly me) via Support Center an one via mail (helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com). Even knowing the former method is only for physical copys and console versions.
In the same boat. Put in a request on the 12th with 3 hours play time. Got the email asking what I want done with the funds. Since then, nothing.

After waiting 8 days I opened a support ticket stating that I hadn't heard anything. Quoted the GOG 30 day refund policy, checked the ticket yesterday and it had been closed and marked as 'solved', Like, wtf? It was closed with no notification.

Do they hope people will just give up?

Thinking I'll be putting in a complaint with my local consumer watchdog.

I honestly thought GOG was a lot better than this.

konroth: refunds & gog , you know, they have no DRM .

on steam they can prevent you from playing the game, gog can not do that.

simply do NOT pre-order, do NOT buy on release day.

just wait for reviews and sales.

with all these bugs the software should be on sale right now at a fraction of the price.
Tell that to all the scammy so called AAA publishers out there who make horrid releases and 10 minute later they're pushing DLC down your throat with a promise to fix game breaking bugs after the 3rd DLC...
I still think its funny that after a refund people expect to KEEP the game.

And there you are again. Who is asking to keep the game? Who has gotten a refund from CDPR?

Seriously, why are you bothering to post this?
Still got nothing and the holidays are around the corner. Well, maybe the first good news of 2021 will be my refund coming through.

Yes, because refunds are so common that THIS is the problem we're facing.

The only ones who got a refund in this thread are those that forced it through Paypal, the rest of us are still waiting in their OFFICIAL platform, not just for a refund, but for a reply or any sort of time required.

GOG and CDPR is showing its true face.

I uninstalled the game, formatted my disk and cleaned it with soap. After that I made a refund request and am now waiting until I can leave this choomba yumba party :D

Cool game, what don't you all like? Yes, there are many problems, but they are not critical. I bought the game to support the developers, they tried hard. You people do not respect the work of others, it is very difficult to make a game of this scale! I liked almost everything, the developers are great.

Maybe you also buy a car without breaks to support the engineers...

The could have made it early access, but they did not! They took the maximum possible cash from you.
