ivanx: I love how people are discovering all the tricks CDPR used to slow down the game to make us buy new Intel and NVIDIA hardware.

I hope with the next patch they will disable the "buy new hardware" mode.
Bold of you to assume that CDPR understands the inner workings of Cyberpunk 2077.
Did anyone read that the

Yes, but you need to specify it, I'm honestly not comfortable to let the engine decide how much it needs, since it's not that reliable

I set it manually, I can play for a few hours.
I let it calculate it, it runs for 5 minutes.

Anyway win7 compat mode doesn't change anything.
just setting the amounts manually did let me play ... at least until the game crashes the entire graphics driver hard, requiring a reboot of my whole computer.
Did nothing for me

Just some text so i can find this thread faster tomorrow :).

I'm not having that much of an issue other than script events in missions that are not ordered correctly causing grief such as Automatic Love, and the NPC checks for unconscious resetting and they wake up inside a bin and people start dying around you because bin or car boot guy is standing shooting while knocked out but not knocked out, I know Consoles are having trouble with this because Consoles are basically Laptops from 5 years ago with average spec.

CDPR should've waited longer to correct more of the scripting etc and the numerous Map errors and some of the Model shading issues.

Also what systems are you guys running might be something in common here that's causing the crash for you people.

I'm on

Win 10 Home
6700k
32gb
Nvme Drives
1080ti

I can run on Ultra at 2k res obv not RTX but that is a gimmick baked lighting looks just as good if done right and requires less power to do a visually similar job it's just longer and harder for artists and you need competent ones to do good lighting.

For those who don't notice any change:

Run the exe file as administrator, after changing the csv file.

I can't confirm how much FPS it increased due to multiple PC issues, but I can confirm it's better and smoother, and I can make some graphic settings higher.

Win 10 20H2

The best FIX I found was rolling back the Nvidia game ready drivers (460.79)to the previous version (457.51) for my 2070!!! (besides the game ready drivers messing with my gamma).

Here is the issue I had with game ready drivers. (Still testing 457.71... performance degrade my occur later, but it better so far)

See the GPU and Power Load slowly drop in GPU-Z! See screenshot:

I didn't notice that, thanks.
The most recent patch (1.0.5) got rid of the memory pool file. This is no longer possible.

This file wasn't used by the game anyway (placebo).
